Our favourites were first the Sicilian Pistachio Escargot with chopped pistachios interlaced with rose petals; both notes came through well. Second was the plum galette with the unique sweet/sour jammy notes. The Pain Au Chocolate and almond croissant impressed with the perfectly laminated and flaky layers; the latter especially won us over with its rich bitter dark chocolate.
People who enjoy decadent buttery pastries would like their Kouign Amann and Brioche Feuilleteee. Both were buttery and flaky while still airy, albeit a tad too rich for us.
I love that these donuts have a chewy texture which makes the dough so nice to bite into and the fillings are not too sweet , it’s creamy tasty fillings without the excess sweetness . Best Donuts in SG !
I preordered online to avoid the queue. Some of my friends have said that the wait can be up to 2h on a bad day. I got them at 6 for $16.90, that’s about $2.80 each! This is significantly cheaper than P&P.
• Crème Brulee: The custard was of the right sweetness. Do note that the torched crust is bitter, and not for everyone. The filling for this was the most generous of all the donuts I got.
• Maple Cinammon: This reminds me of auntie anne’s! The filling tasted like whipped cream to me.
• Blueberry Cheesecake: The filling was ~80% blueberry flavoured whipped cream paired with 20% blueberry jams like those old school bread. Couldn’t really taste the cheese.
• Donutella: Just the usual nutella.
• Raspberry Jam: The jam was a perfect balance between the berry’s sweetness and tanginess.
• Pistachio: The filling is really thick, nutty and fragrant. It will definitely hit the spot for pistachio lovers.
The bread is more of the chewy type, in my opinion.
Have long wanted to give this Orh Nee cake a try and am glad I finally did. Was surprised to find bite sized chunks of yam nestled within the lusciously smooth, velvety puree layered in between the cakes, offering some sort of textural variation from the soft, vanilla sponge. Crowned with a generous amount of chantilly cream and crunchy white chocolate pearls, it's amazing how they managed to ace the ratio of each element to make sure they all come together to form such a delicate cake. Definitely worth the hype!
sadly the 1 for 1 does not apply to brownie nor choc swiss roll. was told by the staff that the vanilla swiss roll was the most popular cake but thought it was ok only. regardless the orange pound cake does not disappoint, sweet but balances nicely with a cup of tea. will be back to try the gelatos: :)
The La Rose is perfect for instagram picture and personally I love the taste too because its not sweet!

Fans of sweet potato would love this. Perfectly moist, and delicious, chunked with a generous amount of sweet potato, added lovely depth to the cake. So completely irresistible~ 💜

Finally got to try this instagram-worthy cake that tastes as good as it looks! The cake was moist and spongy, while the salted egg glaze added just a touch of savouriness which really brought out the flavour of the whole cake. Would have preferred if the salted egg flavour was a little stronger, but really not a bad attempt at melding the two flavours together!
Massive love for the carrot cake here; every bite is creamy & full of fragrance from the chewy coconut floss. The inside is filled with a right mix of sour cream, vanilla and cream cheese frosting, and the cake immediately takes a new turn of textures with the addition of coconut & cranberries.
The salted caramel roll cake ($7) is one of their signature desserts and it’s a constant on their menu. The sponge cake was moist and fluffy, going very well with the cream and the salted caramel flavour.
$7.50 each
Matcha cake with azuki. Love the bitterness of the cake! The thin layer of azuki bean paste brings just the right amount of sweetness to the cake. It’s slightly dry especially the parts without the matcha sauce.
Goma sliced cake is black sesame flavour. Very fragrant and flavourful! The best black sesame cake I’ve had. 👍🏻
