Saheb Indian $150 for 2 (including drinks)

Convenient location at the corner of claymore connect. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Decor is old school Indian (in a good way)

Starters:
Yogurt filled golgappe and a refreshing ginger lime drink. Golgappe were a delight and yogurt was cooling in this weather. Presentation was also perfect. Drink was passable though. 4 stars

Main course:
I ordered the spinach lamb with thick gravy, paneer (cottage cheese) Parantha, raita (yogurt) and aloo Parantha (stuffed potato). Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. The photos don't even do justice to the authentic cooking of these dishes. 5 stars here.

Dessert:
Carrot mashed and cooked typical Indian style. Served hot. (Gajar ka Halwa). This was also good and I recommend.
Was served with a generic ice-cream. Ice cream was avoidable. 3 stars

I must mention the owner Mr. Sandeep here. He was the star of the show. Working so hard and talked so passionately about his restaurant. It was wonderful to see a hard working gentleman, trying his best to make this place work. I wish him all the best and hope this restaurant does well.

Fantastic food. Authentic paki dishes. Taste is perfection here.
The place is really hard to find in suntec mall basement, but don't give up before trying. I would not recommend going at the way, but definitely must go if near suntec. The dishes are expensive for the simple place, but it's totally worth the money, if taste is what you seek.

I ordered the nalli nihari which is essentially mutton bone. With Naan and beef snack. I was so full after the meal, had to skip dessert. Paid a total of $80 with no drinks.

Staff is friendly and service is fast.

4 on 5 for me

79 After dark is celebrating food tour across North and West India this year. Month of May is Gujarati Thali only on Sundays. Unlimited food and masala chaas!

They start with masala chaas and khakhra. The thali is traditionally set with petite bowls filled with awesomeness: kachumbar salad, khaman dhokla, khatti meeti toor dal, Gujarati kadhi, gatta curry, sev Tameta nu Mel, undhiyu, rice and poori with mango shreekhand.

Undhiyu was the biggest hit on our table!

Shreekhand was a bit of let down, but 1 out of 12 is absolutely ignorable.

I'm looking forward to Punjab month in June!

Nice and simple place, plenty of deals and promotions for Indian food. It was a little too simple for the price, so lost a star there.

Right now they have 30% off on ala carte food.

Chicken Chettinad was the highlight dish. nicely cooked. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Breads were fresh and portion size was fair.

I won't go all the way to changi for this, but if you are around, then try it.

This is from their breakfast menu. Will remind you of the room service breakfast in Indian hotels :)
One of the value meals on the menu!
Great authentic taste of indian version of a scrambled eggs + indian bread.

Tibetan style soup with lots of vegetables and noodles and spruced up with indian spices.

Just for one day they created a special set for the meal that's customary and seasonal in the North India. Free flow of everything!
1. Assorted pakoras (fritters)
2. Makki ki roti with legit white butter (maize flour bread)
3. Sarson la saag (mustard greens curry)
With gur (jaggery) to balance the bitterness
4. Hot and crispy jalebi
5. Chhas (buttermilk)

An absolutely delightful meal with great service. Total value for money as well!

Best Indian dessert served hot. Well cooked and super sweet taste, just how it should be.

Rabri that comes along with it was too thin and watery. Taste was still good though.

Must try

The modern version of a very classic Indian dessert. Boondi ke ladoo dunked in firy vodka! The dessert is served with such flair that it's a total blast for instagram! There are 4 tasty & drunk ladoos so value for money as well.

They have a forever young section in the menu for the classics and this butter chicken is one of the best we've had in Singapore. Paired with methi lachcha prantha it reminded me of Delhi!

This was our safe bet on burrple 1-1 :)
