A popular Bebek (duck) restaurant got 2 branches (both in Ubud & Kuta). As we live quite close to the beachwalk mall, the restaurant located on the 3rd floor of this mall becomes a sensible choice after a long day trip.👌

'Bebek Mesuir' IDR 75k (crispy boneless duck with Balinese vegetable & sambal). This really hits all the right note and our absolute favourite. Can't get enough of crispy & spicy duck 🦆

'Nasi Putih' IDR 12.5k (steamed rice) we order this to go along with Bebek Mesuir dish doesn't come with the rice. The rice is a bit mushy but still we manage to finish the whole bowl. 🍚

Some hit & miss but overall a really decent place for duck lovers. Service charge 6% & tax charge 10% Avocado juice IDR 30k & mango juice IDR 32k.🍹

'Bebek Betutu' IDR129k (Roasted duck in thick spice mix). Not joking, we would have love the crispy duck skin but it's more like parboiled with soft skin.

Almost went to 'Warung Tujuh' based on Google reviews but upon reaching there & checking the menu, it appears that most of dishes are fusion dish and cater to tourists. .
We are too much in love with the local food that this won't do for us. Luckily this Warung Muslim Al-Barokah Khas Madura is around the corner and offer delicious Halal food. 👌

You order the food & pick the drink from the fridge. Don't expect top notch service or beautiful surrounding but just go there to enjoy cheap & good food. We got Ayam Bakar (Roasted chicken), Indonesian beef curry with eggplants & bean. Another we have sweet prawn with omelette & cassava leaves curry. We pay IDR 60k for 2 Pax (including Teh Kotak Jasmine tea drinks).

Dadar Gulung (IDR 35k): traditional crepe filled with coconut simmered in palm sugar syrup. 👉 this one doesn't look traditional as the name might imply but fix our sweet tooth if we are not too full.

Another dish We pick 'Nasi ayam' IDR 32k (grilled chicken tastes superb with prawn fritter (gorengan) & Fried cabbage). Shall we say this eatery deserves a crown as 'the most delicious food' we have in Bali so far and our trip hasn't ended just yet. 😉

Never get tired of local food in Bali, this place is a real hidden gem well known among locals. It serves tasty 'Nasi Lalapan' - a typical Indonesian dish which you can pick to have a combination of vegetable, meat or tofu along with sambal chili. 👉

We pick sweet prawn, beef rendang, 'Tahu tek' (bean sprout tofu salad) IDR 37k. The sweet prawn is so addictive & we couldn't get enough of it! We used to try better Beef rendang but still it's quality! 👌

We were suggested by a local to try the Babi Guling at this place. Babi Guling is a roasted suckling pig (a very special Balinese dish) With almost 2k review in google for this eatery, we are sure it can't be wrong.

Served only Babi Guling set in 2 versions- non-spicy and spicy. We order 2 spicy sets and the pork rib soup come first followed by the dish. Crackling pork skin complements well with spicy pork cooked in various ways served with pork satay. Each set is IDR 45k. We will pay a visit again! 👌😊👍
