oh wow the beef cubes are legit tender and flavorful, also i love how the sauce is somehow relatively light and not jelat at all!! the al dente noodles also complement perfectly w the meat and the veg. the latter was also soooo good (and i’m not even a fan of tomato based pastas so that says a lot!!) it’s linguine loaded w fresh seafood in a garlic, white wine and fresh tomato sauce. the amount of seafood given is rly so generous and worth its price!!!! + it’s rly super fresh the quality of the seafood is amazing honestly v impressed :”) the sauce itself is also rly tasty, to me i nvr like tomato based pasta cuz somehow it tastes v artificial but defo not the case for this!! swipe left for a closeup of the other pasta to look at the insane portion :~)
one of the best seafood aglio olio of all time — albeit a lil too spicy for me, the al dente spaghetti is so well seasoned and flavourful + large, juicy, fresh prawns and scallops
one of those foolproof but hard to stand out kind of dishes but these really hit the mark for JK and i :”) i loved how my prawnball was stuffed w melted camembert that oozed out when i broke into it + the saltiness of the mentaiko complemented well w the tanginess of the tomato and creaminess of the mozzy cheese 🤤
JK’s baked rice was super generous w their ingredients and the sauce was a unique sort of seafood reduction (???) honestly not rly sure what it was but it tasted delish. wld defo be back again whenever we are craving a good baked rice
these are deep fried risotto balls w the fillings inside) — these were mediocre as well, cldnt rly taste the filling (or what it was for that matter) it was just a lil ball of fried carbs but it was still kinda decent i guess ~~~
i had the white chicken truffle which consisted of chicken roulade, onions, baby spinach and black truffle dressing and JK had the carne (crumbled meatballs, bacon, pepperoni and mozzy) — tbh it was underwhelming and we were slightly bummed that they discontinued our fav bacon mille :(
the sauce was spread out rly thin and there was way too much plain dough (as much as i love the crust) as u can tell from the picture + the chicken was unseasoned and the onions were chunky and not cooked down! JK’s one tasted btr imo but both were still yummy enough!! we just expected more cuz it used to be so much btr
wild mushroom soup which was so comforting and appetizing :’) it was creamy w a slight bite from lil chunks of mushrooms!! the garlic and herb toast on the side was on the crisp side but i’m not complaining it was good!!!
this salad is our ultimate fav!! crisp and chewy at the same time w the varying textures from the greens and crayfish :~) love the addition of the crunchy tobiko and the chili mayo provides a nice slight kick! sadz that they didn’t give the avocado tdy though, usually they do and it enhances the creaminess of the dish!!
these skewers were so tender they almost disintegrated the moment u placed it in ur mouth (which is slightly weird tbh) but the toppings (mentaiko, hokkaido cream cheese, goma and kombu from bottom to top) were rly unique!! wldnt rly get this again though, they have much nicer sides hahahaha
lightly pan-fried fillet was well cooked and flakey!! it’s a fresh and clean option!! however the dual potato mille feuille wasn’t the best :( it was tasteless, slightly too tough and dense. the fish is rly good though!!
nvr disappointed with the quality of food here :’) the chicken leg was juicy and tender!! loved the crunch on the top that wasn’t only parmesan but a mixture that had tomato, herbs and other bits as well, which provided a differing texture and enhanced the flavour :~)
calamari, prawns, clams, scallops that tasted rly fresh tossed w spaghetti in a generous amount of spiced tomato sauce that was tangy and appetizing 🤤
