Personally I haven’t tried the Naughty Nuri’s at Ubud, but hearing from many friends and reviews who had tried both, Naughty Nuri’s reign supreme. 🤤

Wahaha has decent ribs that was kissed with the delicate smoky aroma however the rub is a little sweet for my liking. The meat was tender and moist but what made dining at Wahaha a pleasant experience was the excellent customer service and the company. 🔖

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: Honestly speaking, I have never tried rosti prepared this way before, it’s the pinnacle of all the rosti I’ve had so far and it’s all downhill after this.
Shaved thinly akin to Mee Pok Noodles, then shaped into a disk like pattern and deep fried to golden brown. The result is an ultra crispy exterior and surprisingly the midsection of the rosti isn’t dry but extremely moist. 🤤

Pair it with a perfectly poached egg, creamy avocado, homemade hollandaise and bacon, it’s a brunch dream come true. If you start your day with this, the chances of it leading to a bad night is close to zero and the percentage of you coming back with that somebody is high if you take he/she here the very next day. 🔖

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: When I'm in Bali for only a couple of days, I would consider it a sin against all that’s good in the world to not eat at a traditional warung (a small family-owned business - a restaurant or cafe), the most uniquely Balinese food institution, in some crummy little joint where the Balinese eat. I'd much rather do that than go to the some tourists traps. That's Bali to me. 🔖

The food might not be as mind blowing as other establishments, the ambience can be challenging at times but the food and the people serving you provides an environment closer to home. Soulful, comforting food. PS: the Gado Gado and Liver Rendang will be forever itched in my Food memory bank, it’s that amazing.

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: Smoked kissed pork skewers that’s barbecued till charred yet tender and juicy with a level of sweetness that’s a little too overwhelming. However, the Balinese spices was added to prevent the one dimensional taste that’d bore you after a couple of skewers. 🔖

A little side of Sayur Lawar (💵28,000 Rupiah/S$2.80) was accompanied with the skewers that brings together the pungent combination of long beans, grated ginger, grated coconut, garlic and fried onions.
The spiciness does not hit you straight away, it’s more like a slow burning sensation that’s waiting to erupt, not for the faint of heart and you might regret it on your throne the next day but it feels so painfully addicting whilst consuming it.
