Vietnamese Food in SG
This has gotta be one of the best beef phos I’ve had in Singapore so far. The broth is extremely hearty, rich, and full of beefy flavour (we spoke to the owner who revealed that they use beef bones to prepare the beef broth, and chicken bones for the chicken broth)! The brisket slices were nice too, and each order is served together with a generous portion of greens. If you’re a fan of pho, I implore you to check this place out!
Was craving for Vietnamese food and decided to scroll through Burpple Beyond for some money saving options. Came across 1-for-1 mains at Viet MaMa, which was reviewed quite positively, so that's where we went for dinner!
The food here was excellent I must say! Both of our mains - Rice Vermicelli w/ Grilled Pork & Spring Roll and Beef Pho were finely executed! But the star of the night was the extra side dish we ordered - the Viet Crispy Mini Pancake. So crispy and delicious, it reminded us of a Vietnamese version of vadai. We both highly recommend ordering this! All in all, this under the radar Viet place is definitely worth checking out!
The Phò Tái is another dish i would recommend here at SG Pho House.
The beef slices are tender & thinly sliced, making it very easy to chew through while the soup is light but flavourful. This would be a very comforting meal during rainy days.
This may not be the best beef pho i’ve tasted (that honour still belongs to Long Phung), but it is certainly among the better ones you can get in Singapore.
Checked out this relatively new Vietnamese joint after seeing good reviews of this place on social media.
Their grilled pork vermicelli is a dish i would recommend; dry noodles tossed in sweet sauce topped with grilled pork chop, fresh herbs & vegetables. A yummy & refreshing mix!
I also found out that the lady boss used to work at Mrs Pho after chatting with her; which explains why the style and set up of both shops are so similar.

The banh mi here is very authentic; very fresh & super crispy. The crunchy sound of the baguette was evident with every bite that i took!

Banh Mi Co Hai ($10) includes a good mix of vietnamese hams, bbq sliced pork belly, pork floss, pâté and pickles. They all came together to create a delightful symphony of flavours in my mouth. Yummy!

Found a good Vietnamese joint near my workplace. Love their duck pho, the broth is so good although portion could be more generous. It costs $15.50 to upgrade to the set meal which includes a side dish plus a drink.
The beef pho is pretty good, has a very light taste (still prefer the ones at Long Phung & Mrs Pho tho), and also ordered spring rolls to complete my dinner.
