Early Christmas Dinner @ Edge

Was disappointed with the limited variety of durian pastries. Had to order an a la carte of Nyona Curry Chicken.

One of the only restaurants in Orchard with a Halal-certified kitchen serving a buffet spread of our favourite local dishes, StraitsKitchen promises a unique gastronomic tour through Singapore’s distinct cuisine.

Menu highlights show off the best of Singapore’s four local races: Chinese, Indian, Malay and Peranakan. Stationed at live theatre kitchens, chefs will personally prepare freshly roasted items straight from the sizzling grill. Apart from the traditional meals, not to be missed at StraitsKitchen are the pastries and desserts, from Peranakan kuehs to homemade ice-creams.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day at Melt Cafe. Known for its extensive buffet presentations, the restaurant had a variety of stations to tempt diners. Here diners would find a roast and carving corner, as well as the ever popular live gourmet stations, together with the European and Asian spreads. The Melt Chocolate Cake was to die for! The crabs were sweet and fresh, while the Tze Char dishes tasted pretty good too!

Christmas Buffet Lunch @ Marriott Cafe.

Seafood Buffet every sat @ $88++ per person. A very family friendly restaurant. There was a live band and kids and baby corner specially catered for children.

Breakfast buffet at $33 nett per person. Loved the ambience and variety of breakfast here. The scrambled eggs were my favorite!

The Penang buffet has more than 30 hawker favourites which include Char Kway Teow, Penang Hokkien Mee, Penang Laksa, Penang Rojak, Chendol, Ice Kachang, Nasi Lemak etc.

Love the desserts! The waffles were freshly made and crisp on the outside. There were special ice cream flavors such as Thai Milk Tea, Salted Egg Yolk and Mango Yoghurt.

Seafood mania buffet. Expect a massive line-up of seafood which includes favourites such as the King Alaskan crab, mud crab, Boston lobster, fresh prawns, mussels and clams on ice.

Peach Garden @ Hotel Miramar has an unbelievable a la carte buffet which features a massive lineup of 38 Chinese delights.
