Found another restaurant that goes into my must-try food in Singapore! Kajiken is a mazesoba, or dry Japanese ramen, shop that reminds me of the yummy dry ramen I had in Yamatoten Abura Soba in Jakarta 😊 I recommended the Mazesoba Nagoya Style, which consists of dry noodles with spicy minced pork, soft boiled egg, seaweed and vegetables. You'll sweat a bit but that's what makes you want to dig in for more!

My second favourite meal from Yayoi is this salmon don. It's affordable and satisfying 😊

And here it is, the spicy version of the Ha-na Katsudon! The one that many food reviewers recommended because it's more flavourful and 🔥.

Tried the cheapest Bara Chirashi Don in Singapore ✔️
It's definitely worth it (just look at those fat chunks of sashimi 😋) but I'd enjoy it more if there are no hints of wasabi at all. So I'm planning to come back and enjoy it without the overpowering wasabi taste 🙂

Indulging in Sushi Tei's fresh and juicy Salmon Belly Sashimi. I can never get enough of sashimi seriously 😍

As a fan of chirashi bowl, I just had to try MOJO's. The big portion with fat chunks of sashimi totally provoked my taste bud. However, the taste gave me a disappointment. The rice wasn't like the Japanese rice, and the sesame seeds and the sweet sauce were too overpowering. Eating it did not give me the satisfaction I demanded from a chirashi bowl sadly 🙁

Made a second visit to Tonkatsu by Ma Maison because I craved their tonkatsu meal. Previously tried their deep fried pork cheese cutlet with miso sauce, I chose the Mameton menu this time. It consisted of tempura, deep fried pork loin and deep fried pork fillet--so complete, so satisfying. It'll still be on my favourite tonkatsu place in Singapore, even though another Japanese resto surpasses the tonkatsu sauces here 🙂

Although the taste is nice, I still prefer to eat handmade gyoza rather than the frozen ones... I can really tell that they just fried frozen gyozas. Thats why the skin was a bit stiff too.

This is how the ramen noodle looks like here, at least for the normal ramen menu :)

A really filling bowl of ramen. The broth is satisfyingly thick and the pork is so tender 🙂👍🏻
