A truly unique space located along Beach Room for fans of the colour pink. The art deco style tearoom has a tips only concept, so you pay what you feel your drink was worth. The Piña Colada + Ginger cold brew tea came with a pairing of dark chocolate in a delightfully on trend shade of pink. Heads up though: this space is only open on weekdays!
While the fancy interiors look daunting at first, the lunch set was surprisingly affordable at $9.80 for two "Baos" (pictured) and a drink. You can select between several flavours of baos from the braised pork to salted egg yolk prawn, and at the end of a meal you even get your own fortune cookie!
Came at 230pm after their kitchen had closed but fortunately they had a small bar bites menu which was actually very substantial - phew! Fish tacos were crunchy with just a bit of spice 👍🏻 Also would recommend the grilled cheese sandwich which my friend got!
Riders Cafe isn't the newest brunch place out there but it's still packed to the brim during the weekend. I personally made a trip down because I had 1-for-1 mains on my Entertainer app, but it turns out it doesn't apply for the Brunch menu! Still, it was enjoyable and I love how creative they were to place their Eggs benedict on top of a crispy crab patty. I'm not a big bread fan, I admit so this was very welcomed.
Came here for the pretty and super hyped up Ricotta Berries Pancake which was surprisingly tasty - but seriously filling! If you're showing up with female friends, consider sharing this dish.
