Hello there Rosu 🐄, we meet again!
Back at my favourite yakiniku place in Singapore! Brought a Japanese colleague over to try out this place! (However I reckon he might have tried it in Tokyo). Ordered the usual Curry Rice, Tokusei Reimen, Tokusen Tan - Shio (Ox Tongue), Yazawa Salad. Can't really recall which part of the meat did we ordered but it should be rosu & harami.
The food did not disappoint. It was still as yummy as it was! A small 12 tables restaurant, the seats are easily fully booked! Do reserve few days in advance to avoid any dismay. The price may be hefty but they serve the best cut of beef!
Had been wanting to visit Kyushu Pancake Cafe ever since I drove past it before it's official statement on its opening on social network. Was in a dilemma on what to order, decided to order Eggs Benedict due to my love for eggs... At Kyushu Pancake Cafe, the pancakes are made with 7 different grains that are grown in Kyushu that gives it a unique taste and chewy texture. I felt that maybe they should have been more generous with their hollandaise sauce...
So pumped up to try this gyoza that comes with mentaiko sauce drizzled on top! It sure was delish! Thin gyoza skin and full of juicy ingredients, yummmm
Hana Hana is opened by Teppei but however, I would prefer this bowl of Barachirashi over to Teppei's! The sashimi was swimming happily my mouth - so fresh!!! Do try the Beef Steak Don as well if you do not take raw food. The beef was tender and the sauce compliments the meat really well.
I think only Japan knows the way to my heart & stomach 💕 Newly introduced sake kit kat recently and has a faint taste of sake on white chocolate kit kat.
Really cute mini burger, really crunchy prawns but the onions...killed the mentaiko flavour.
For the exquisite taster! Truffle taste & smell is there, ramen noodles were not clumpy either. It was served with two chashu and chopped black fungus. The onsen egg is an add-on +$2. The flavoured egg wasn't salty at all. Would also recommend the spicy ramen. The soup is too good! Would come back again during weekdays as weekends is a horror!
•$15• I personally think this is the best omu rice I've ever had! The tomato rice was not overpowering nor sour which complement with the "fuwa-fuwa" gentle omelette. Shrimps were crunchy. This is definitely plate-licking good!
•$24• Living up to its name of Monster. This was presented us on our dining table for just 2pax and it was H-U-G-E! Consists of omelette, cheese, tori karaage, fried ebi and rice of course. There are options for you to add in other ingredients such as sausages etc too. The Monster Combo was easily able to feed up to 3pax! The curry was tasty though and to my understanding with my Japanese colleagues, Japanese don't really take spicy foods, but this was catered to the locals, where they've spice level for you to take on. Umai 美味い!
