The Beef Cheeks Bourguignon from Perch was so good. It was so well braised and flavorful with the meat falling apart easily. There’s a nice sweet mellowed red wine taste to it which blends in very well with the savoriness of the dish.
Off the menu specials (but will be added in soon)! The charred beef was so tender and marination was superb. Wrap it with the thin layer of chapati skin and some pickled cucumber and salsa, it’s like a play of some juiciness, crispness and lightness all in that simple wrap. Simply delicious!
It’s quite a find for this japanese izakaya place along the whole stretch of boat quay! Very chill ambiance with super goood izakaya variety and they have rather reasonable priced sake on promotions. One of my favorite was this mentaiko udon with kimchi, simple but very light and refreshing, could just easily slurp the whole bowl down. Other than that must try their battered squid too! It’s amazingly good!
It tasted somewhat like Spanish Paella but what differentiated this dish was its flavor with an omph to it yet not too over savory. Rice which was cooked in prawn bisque has fully absorbed the essence of it relishing hints of umami flavors. Fresh succulent light tasting prawn and scallop has complemented the heavier tasting chorizo pretty well.
14 hours sous vide iberico pork collar with thai red curry sauce. Glistening with hues of pinks, pork collar was tender with velvety soft texture. Accompanying thai red curry made into thick sauce was bursting with creaminess, spiciness and nuttiness. Price is on the higher end given the small portion, but your wallet can’t simply resist the temptations of that melty iberico pork to begin with.
Brunch place by the day and bar with drinks and mains in the night. I'm pretty impressed with their quality of food. Ordered their 250g grilled rib eye, medium rare. Though it was leaning towards medium, meat was rather tender and juicy gleaning with hues of pinkness. Marinated with sauces but not too overwhelming, yet accompanying sauce was optional. Rib eyes was good enough to be tasted alone. Choice of mash or fries. Mash was a little smooth a little chunky kind with a side baked crushed cauliflower salad. Order a sangria to complete the meal for the night!
Just a simple and clean one burger siting on your plate with no salad and chips. But thank goodness for the warm and crisp brioche bun, and a juicy tender pork patty though lacking of the Cajun flavor and finding it a little tad fatty. But with the green lettuce and eggy, it somehow makes my meal a little healthier!
A little off the way, but turns out to be a good hangout place for he night. Happy hour drinks and delectable varieties of selections. For instance, this chilli crab pasta filled with spicy and tangy sauce with generous lumps of crab meat. Tantalizing and savory plate of delish!
Drizzle with truffle oil on wild mushrooms, mozzarella and parmesan cheese and topped it off with a sunny side up! Something special, first of its kind i have ever tasted so far. The crackling thin slice of pizza at its edges was surprisingly good with mild truffle aroma and taste that sits in really well with all the other ingredients on the pizza.
If you have a thing for lobster, you should not miss this lobster tagliatelle! Tagliatelle cooked in lobster bisque with generous chunks of meaty and crunchy lobster meat! A dish with each mouthful filled of umami taste.
Crispy juicy tender mid-joints which will gladly welcome more flavors from the shrimp paste! But nonetheless the accompanying balacan chilli definitely steals the limelight of the dish, just a few mouthful of it, and it's ready to set your tongue on fire. Hot and fiery, filled with all the oomph and kicks that you need!
Heavenly looking golden shades of melted cheese overflowing on a bed of nachos chips with chopped jalapeno bringing about a tingling sensation. This oven-baked delight is too awesome that you must really give it a try!
