The Veggie Puttanesca Pizza is a new seasonal main, featuring an all-vegetable assortment of toppings on a base decked with puttanesca sauce. It includes Kalamata olives, capsicum, Roma tomatoes, button mushrooms, yellow onions and arugula. Not a huge fan of the pizza base, as it was a little more dry and biscuity.
Loved these wings! Following the recommendation of our friendly waitress, we opted for our wings with an additional Bali Rub (+$1.90). The piping hot wings arrived coated in a slick sweet sauce. The crunch was on point and the meat remained juicy. If you're feeling adventurous, you can consider adding the Butter Sriracha (+$1.90) for a unique twist.
Saw almost every other table digging into these Truffle Fries even before we took our seats! While a little pricey, we thoroughly enjoyed the fries’ consistent crunch and fluffy interior.
Undoubtedly the most popular starter at Spago. Served in crisp cones, the fresh and refreshing tuna tartare have a kick of heat from the addition of wasabi and chili aioli. Was great to start off our meal with!
Tablescape’s new Afternoon Tea Set allows you to enjoy it dine-in or in the comfort of your own home. It features a refreshed menu of savoury and sweets that are delicately put together, such as Rosemary Apple Tart, Cheese Mousse in a “Flower Pot”, Foie Gras Kaya Brioche, and a selection of Scones with Homemade Jam, Clotted Cream and Homemade Butter. Our takeaway set also came with sachets of teas and coffee. We thought this was pretty worth the price tag!
Used @jillssausages to very quickly put together our brunch plates this morning!

Jill’s carries a full range of artisanal sausages and deli meats - all carefully handcrafted, free from all the usual nasties like nitrates, nitrites, additives, etc. We even spotted various spices and herbs in their ingredient lists. Used the Smoked Sliced Ham (Pork) & Raclette and Cheddar Kransky here - didn’t manage to grab a picture but the kranskys were chunky and substantial, with a generous burst of cheese! Yum.
Linguine in a prawn bisque sauce with seared scallops and prawns. Was hoping for a slightly saucier base, but otherwise it was a nice dish with al dente linguine. It’s a bit pricey, but you do get a good number of prawns and scallops that were cooked just right. Service was warm!
The XO Carrot Cake is one of the local delights they have here. The chunks of carrot cakes are stir fried in XO sauce and pork lard, and has toppings of radish, garlic and shrimps. We quite liked the flavour combination here, except it could be a lot less salty.
Definitely expected a bigger portion at this price tag, though they were fried nicely crunchy. If you’re looking for something to munch on, the fries seem to be more worth it.
Pork ribs in a sweet BBQ sauce with sides of fries and salad vegetables. Quite a hearty option and the meat was sufficiently tender.
Was quite surprised by the menu here at Grapevine @ Guillemard. It’s a chill out bistro bar along Guillemard road, but they serve up quite a number of local dishes and Japanese inspired items, alongside the more Western options and bar bites. It’s a spot to catch live EPL matches and happy hour drinks.
The thin-crusted pizza was decent with a good amount of toppings. There’s 5 other flavours, like Pulled Pork and Chicken Satay.
Though not as crispy as the typical ones, we liked that these fresh potato fries were cleanly fried and not heavily salted.
