Korean
One of their signature items is this hearty and delicious seafood stew with a mix of charred vegetables, toasted and caramelised seafood (flower crabs, prawns, mussels, squid) and noodles in a rich, spicy broth. Love the rich flavor from the crustaceans
These eggs were so delightful. Garnished with spring onion and drizzled generously with sesame oil, they were fluffy and warm from the sizzling dish and paired well with white rice. We could visibly see and hear the sizzling when the dish was served to our table!
The cold noodles were just the way I like them; QQ and springy with a slight bite. Served with tender pork bulgogi, a sweet and soft piece of tamago and heaps of seaweed strips. Mix well with the chilli Jang sauce before eating. My dining partner said this tastes just like back in Korea.
I would have to say my second visit was more pleasant than the first!
Finally managed to try the chicken wings and it was soooooo good. This time we chose Collagen and Tomato Soup base, and it was heavenly as the collagen can be abit gelak after drinking too much and the tomato refreshes the palette. It's gonna be my default combi!
It was less crowded than the last time I was there, hence the level of customer service given to each customer was higher. The staff were courteous, polite and attentive, great job! ๐๐ผ
This new Korean seafood concept at Prinsep will please both seafood and hotpot lovers. For a truly decadent feast, gather a group of eight for the Seafood Tower ($288.90), which features nine staggering layers of steamed seafood including prawns, scallops, langoustines and squid. The bottom-most layer is the soup base (go for the Korean kimchi if you like your broth flavour-packed), which you can customise with add-ons like ramen, sausages and meatballs (from $2 a plate). If you can't find a crowd to eat with, there are smaller portions available like the three-tiered Seafood Tower ($52.90), which feeds two hungry bellies.
Avg Price: $35 per person
Ramyeon + Toppoki = Seafood Roppoki ($22)
Although it's a tad salty but it's darn good! ๐

The 8 Colours Set experience could be compared to your first time teaching a class of eight precocious and gifted kids - you can easily differentiate between them (with the help of the name tags, of course) and they all possess a common underlying brilliance, but once they all go through the same standardised education system, only one or two manage to out-class participation the others and distinguish themselves. Undeniably good Mangalitsa pork belly, though. 3.8/5

This is the first restaurant in SG that is dedicated to Andong-jjimdak (seasoned and simmered chicken). The menu while simple with only 4 dishes to choose from, it's best to eat it in groups due to the large portion.
Boneless Jjimdak ($45.90 for 2-3pax, $55.90 for 3-4pax) consists of boneless chicken thigh meat mixed with carrots, potatoes and onions. This dish is simmered to perfection in spicy ganjang (soy sauce). But highlight of this dish is Sweet Potato Noddles!! ๐ Thick chewy noodles, soak in delicious ganjang sauce, it's just so easy to finish it yourself.
Chunks of bright purple sweet potato over the soft shaved ice, topped with a a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle over with condensed milk. Wish the potatoes to be slightly crunchy instead of mushy though but nvertheless, I would prefer injeolmi ๐
