wooh wooh anything with salted egg is my fav! onion ring is really crispy and good. but sad to say the salted egg sauce is pretty pathetic, wad u see on top is really wad u get.
Had the 'Hadoken' - pork patty topped with spicy meat sauce. Burger was fresh and not overly porky and the fries were really well done. Thumbs up.
Opening along Bukit Pasoh Road, Boca serves authentic Portugese fare in a warm, stylish setting. Be welcomed into the three-storey shophouse by flights of Andorinha (swallows) which commemorate the spirit of returning home, and make yourself comfrotable in this stylish, warm space. Order the Prato de Salgadinhos Mistos, which is their platter of petiscos (the Portugese equivalent of tapas) and go for the super-comforting Açorda de Bacalhau (congee-esque bread with salted cod), and the Chouriço em Chamas (chorizo flame-grilled in brandy). End the evening with the original Portuguese Egg Tart, served with a liberal sprinkling of cinnamon and icing sugar as they should be. Sounds like an amazing date night, no?
With branches in Dover and Pandan Garden, Ministry of Ribs brings good ol' American grub that is set to satisfy at extremely affordable prices. True to their name, their Hickory Smoked Ribs ($13.90 for half, $20.90 for full portion) are a stand-out, having been thoughtfully selected, slow-cooked, smoked and then seared for incredible flavour with their blend of spices and sauces. Their special Ministry Burger ($13.90) is a hearty option, complete with bacon and fried onion onion rings atop a juicy beef patty cooked to perfection. Ribs, burgers and prime ribeye steaks prepared fresh daily — this is just the spot to enjoy a hearty meal with friends or family.
Sometimes all you need is a plate of comforting, downright delicious pasta. Enter Ah Bong's Italian, helmed by the affable Chef Chris, which caters to that very need by serving a range of fantastic pastas right out of a humble coffeeshop stall in Tiong Bahru Estate — for just six bucks a plate. Choose anything that suits your fancy, from the irresistible Truffle Mac & Cheese (no description needed), to the signature Birthday Pasta — a seriously magical combination of broccoli, cream and bacon. End off with a unique dessert of the day, which sees delightful creations like Orange Earl Grey Crème Brûlée, and wash it all down with a kopi-o from the uncle next door! There are limited portions available each day, so head down early.
Not the best around. There're no jalapeños in sight and they add a sweetish chilli sauce that tastes rather out of place to me. However, it's still worth sharing if you're craving a savoury snack before hitting their desserts.

Amazing and totally value for money. This no frills, top notch French dining is divine to the tee. The chef is French and he knows his stuff. Delightful and bursting in flavors, I relish this simple dish to the last spaghetti.

The Saveur group has delved into affordable French fine dining with its latest food venture - Saveur Art. Located in ION Orchard, Saveur Art serves impeccably plated dishes with French finesse. Start with the egg confit & truffle ($12, $18 to add freshly shaved truffle) or chestnut veloute ($10), then go for the mangalica pork two ways ($22) or poached Maine lobster ($29 for half, $49 for whole) and end off with their chocolate and pistachio dessert ($13). You don't have to wait for a special occasion to dine at Saveur Art, 2-/ 3-course lunches are reasonably priced at $29 and $37 respectively.
