Our favorites include the spicy tomato soup with house-made crab cakes (seriously tender with chunky crab meat) and Vietnamese fruit salad with beef jerky, fresh herbs and roasted peanuts. An acquired taste is required with the tamarind iced soda with peanut and sesame seeds (but we like it!)—sweet, sour and savory—reminiscent of Vietnam, if we do say so ourselves.
