I MEET my friend to get our milkshakes and to avoid MELTing in the SG heat. (😂😂) So, this "café" is right under a HDB block, the tables and chairs are placed along a walkway. I would say its run on a tight budget of cheapest plastic chairs, some wooden tables, that's enough for a tumblr-type picture, right? The order area is not conducive for deciding, so come prepared. The walls are filled with different Instagram uploaded images from visitors, a chalked-written black board.
We stick to their Cookies&Cream Milkshake, Ferrero Banana-based Milkshake, and a Ferrero Toast. The toast is 7/10 pretty! However, there's little creativity, just a rip off from LA toast. There wasn't a signature. But the taste is nailed. If you ordered a plate of diabetes, that's how it would taste! ✔✔
This taught me that food's sole purpose may not be to provide nutrition, but to help gain likes and variety on Instagram! 👍Sorry, but I prefer longer life to enjoy more food. I don't think I'll be going back soon.
La maralle indeed spent it's capital on decorating the space into a French theme. The colours were attractive. However, the good things stops there.
