Picnic Perfect 🍄

Da Paolo has a good variety of pastas, salads and cakes that are already packed in takeaway boxes. You can get the pastas warmed up at the restaurant, and then take them straight to your picnic. It's so convenient! We had the beef lasagna and tuna tortellini (bottom left) and they were delicious. The lasagna was generously packed with meaty saucy goodness, and smothered in melty cheese. It also surprised me how much I liked the mildly spicy tortellini, since I'm not usually a fan of fishy tuna. The pastas tasted very fresh, and were warmed up just right (pasta was not overcooked). Since Da Paolo is just across the road from the botanic gardens, it's perfect for picking up picnic food. Not to mention there's a Cold Storage (for drinks, fruits and chips) and Simply Bread in the same building!
