Liquid nitrogen ice cream. Icy treats perfect for the crazy weather.

Featuring Mango Sticky Rice, a scoop of mango & cream ice cream atop a bed of coconut infused sticky rice.

We tried 4 flavours - Red Ruby, Mango Sticky Rice, Death by Chocolate & Chendol (in order of preference).

Confit of duck leg from France served with mash potato, braised savoy cabbage and au jus.

Pretty fancy stuff for a coffee shop and well worth the price paid. The mash potato here is sooooo good! I liked the duck confit a lot! Although some have commented that they find it a little dry, but mine was ok, or maybe I like it that way 😝 #LaterGram from lunch with my MIA Friday lunch buddy @poksie.

Item Price: $15 Tad bit overprice for the food. Cafe decoration is rustic and cool.though

If you are the one who can't miss out on hipster cafes, Craftsmen would be the place of your choice to chill especially with its industrial theme. If the orange cups look similar, that's because they are affiliated to Dutch Colony Coffee from Pasarbella. Not really a fan of their rather light-bodied coffee but it definitely has the potential of being an uprising cafe.

This really hip-looking cafe shows no trace of its past; probably the only thing that is obvious was the signboard that is retained from the previous tenant. It takes over an old coffeeshop that had started here ever since the estate was around, which also used to house a rather famed Prawn Noodle stall in here. Other items such as the artwork in the cafe featuring old calendars and a weighing scale in its toilet also gives a nod to the past. Despite so, the menu is rather western, featuring salads, all-day brunch and desserts as well as coffee made using the Throwback blend by Papa Pahelta. Go for the waffles if you are here; the Buttermilk is fragrant at its best even though its not even stated in the menu, and for those interested in savoury waffles they also serve them with Fried Chicken, which is also one of their specialties.

Tiong Hoe speciality coffee located in the neighborhood of Queenstown estate, serve handcrafted coffee, cold brews, V60 pour and more. They also conduct coffee appreciation workshops and microlat roasting.

Their fruit tarts are probably the most versatile of the lot. I am no fruit tart lover, but I loved theirs as the tart and slightly sourish Kiwi was well complimented with a custard-like cream which was sweet yet light! And that cookie-like tart base makes it all the better!

LOL. 9-day-old #oldschool #cafe in the heartland at Block 38 Telok Blangah Rise 01-315, open by a couple Don and Selena. Dear Southies, rejoice!

Don and Selena spent three years collecting the many "antiques" here. What they have in the cafe is just 1/3 of their collection. A heartland #cafe with very strong personality and laid-back ambience. There are cuttings of old newspapers around to satisfy a reader's need. It was a fun experience to have a "crashcourse" on Singapore history(from the newspapers) while sipping coffee!

Set in the heart of the CBD, Vanilla Bar & Cafe is one of those places where you can sit all day to chill, have a convenient lunch meeting, or finish up some work over a pint. The food is unpretentious and tasty, with Japanese fusion light meals, and a slightly crazy Vanilla dirt cake that actually comes in a flower pot.

What sets D'Good Cafe apart from the rest is that they offer customers a unique experience of creating their own coffee blend from a range of single origin beans. Their coffee art also never fails to amaze -- imagine an adorable bear or rabbit sitting in your coffee! Don't hesitate to order their affordable tea-time sets, available after 2pm.
