Could use some of this herbal, peppery broth crab tanghoon. Heavily seasoned, tasted like bak ku teh, with noted of sweetness from the whole crab. The broth is so addictive that the last drop wasn't spared. While the crab is fresh enough and meaty enough, the soup was a tad "MSG overload" leaving you thirsty. But nonetheless still so yummy.

These are organic hen eggs with smoked potato foam, chorizo and shallots. They are available at Christmas Eve and Day set dinner at Gorden Grill.

Le Steak by Chef Amri aims to be an affordable family-friendly steakhouse. Popular items include their Grilled Chicken, Sirloin Steak and Seared Salmon, all priced reasonably below $20. Even the desserts of Lemon Tart or Creme Brulee are a hit at under $10. If you're in the Jalan Kayu area, this is the perfect place for dinner with your loved ones. Located just beside the SMU admin building in town, this little steakhouse is a go-to for inexpensive steaks. With set lunches (including 2 sides) going for only $10, it is no doubt that it has become a popular place for uni students and the working crowd. Signatures includes the Specialty Angus Ribeye and the Teriyaki Chicken Steak. They come in big portions, and there's no GST, service charge!

The sushi here is delicious! Definitely try their Salmon Aburi Roll w generous portions of salmon scorched to perfection. Unagi sushi and Chirashi dons are good too

Not your typical BBQ pork ribs, Oriole dishes out tender, fall-off-the-bone, asian inspired pork ribs. Rubbed with their special blend of kicap-manis chilli marinade and accompanied by sambal matah, this version of ribs gives you a mix of sweet, tangy and spicy! Sweet potato fries are also served instead of the usual, adding a further touch of uniqueness to your experience here at Oriole. One of my favourite things about Oriole is that they are one of the participating Merchants in The Entertainer, which means 1-for-1 Main Courses ^^ and the St Louis' Pork Ribs is one of the main courses up for offer ( ˘ڡ˘ ). P.S Get a pint of draft Kronenburg Blanc (1-for-1 everyday from 3pm-9pm) to go with your ribs to make your dining experience an even better one.

A classic favourite amongst local Singaporeans, loved by Malays, Indians, Chinese and even the expats. Portion was generous and the fried chicken was awesome. Value for money with the whole set under $5.
