Super fuss-free brunch we just had using @newmultisg’s Chicken Patties that are healthier choice approved and preservatives free. We tossed them in the airfryer and had them in a wrap! I loved that these weren’t too salty. Each bag at $13.40 has 20 pieces.

Equally convenient to prepare are their Crispy Fish Popcorn and Spicy Fried Boneless Chicken Thigh (this was like a McSpicy man, spice was legit).

A fuss free pasta lunch with @pietro_global’s bottled pasta sauces.

Tried out the Genovese Pesto Sauce here, but they have other flavours too like the Aglio olio e Peperoncino and Sesame Soy Sauce & Garlic. Had our pasta with cherry tomatoes and cheese. Thought the pesto sauce could be less oily, but it seems pretty versatile. Apart from pasta, you can use it for fried rice, gohan, etc. Looking forward to try the other two.

Thank you @japanlover_singapore & @pietro_global for sharing these with me! ✨

Haven’t actually heard of taramasalata before, but learnt that it’s like a Mediterranean version of a mentaiko dip! Just a little of this spread on the pita gives sufficient flavour. It’s smooth with a tiny touch of tang and it’s not as creamy/milky as the usual mentaiko spreads which may sometimes get a bit heavy. It’s also very convenient to have - we’ve been spreading it on all sorts of bakes man. Available as a bundle with pita bread or on its own. There’s also kombu butter available. This breakfast was with @spreadwithstyle’s kombu butter & @breadcreateur’s onion cheese sourdough. Enjoyed the harmonious blend of the lightly savory butter with umami notes from the addition of shio kombu - that’s dehydrated Japanese kelp cured in soy! The versatility of the butter makes it extra fun. Other than having it as a spread with breads and crackers, you can use them for baking and cooking. Sold in individual kombu butter tins or as a bundle with 3 of their soft pita bread ($18).

Came for this the last time but it was sold out, so we popped by since we were in the area! They are topped with condensed milk and butter, toasted to a crunch outside and retained a bit more softness inside. I definitely prefer these more to those that are fully crunchy, which I find a tad dry. That said though, I’ll go for their other toasts next time, cause these were a bit tiring to bite after a while.

A little expensive considering the size but enjoyed this! What I liked most was that it’s not greasy and the bread still has a good amount of thickness to it. It looks very fried, but was still soft inside, with a very distinct and fragrant eggy taste. Go for the syrup to sweeten it up, but would recommend not to pour too much so that it doesn’t cover the savoury touch of the butter.

Came by So Good Char Chan Tang a tad bit too late so we missed out on trying their very popular French toast & condensed milk buns, but still happy we had a try of their hot HK milk tea, wanton noodles, chee cheong fun and this classic scrambled eggs on toast. Nothing fancy and I was hoping for a touch more salt on the eggs, but still a simple and comforting dish done well. Enjoyed the crunch of the toast!

Actually really enjoyed this as much as it looks very simple. On a crunchy garlic flatbread, it’s spread with tomato infused scrambled eggs, onions, bell peppers, scallion, and crumbled feta cheese. It was very pleasing and comforting to have! This dish is part of their Around-The-World menu that’s available on weekends for brunch between 11.30am to 4pm.

Strandzhanka is a Bulgarian dish, baked bread with ground pork and egg with onions, thyme and cumin. Found the dish to be a tad too dry and was expecting a bit more for this price tag. Seasoning here is more on the mild end. This dish is part of their Around-The-World menu that’s available on weekends for brunch between 11.30am to 4pm.

Unlike some other shakshouka renditions I’ve had that had flavours mostly dominated by sweeter tomatoes/ketchup, the version here had a much better balance using a spicy garlic tomato sauce base with cumin. There’s bell peppers, onions, diced tomatoes and eggs made together with a choice of beef meatballs or lamb rissoles, served with flat bread. Pleasantly surprised by the lamb rissoles here, they were well-textured and not gamy. Flat breads were a tiny bit oily, but had a great crunch and paired well. This dish is part of their Around-The-World menu that’s available on weekends for brunch between 11.30am to 4pm.

Long pasta, haus marinara, haus meatball, haus bacon, pork croutons and parmigiana reggiano. Our haus meatball rolled off before it reached our table so it looks a teeny bit messy here 🙊. Was happy to see the generous topping of parmigiana reggiano, but unfortunately for the rest of it, they felt more like separate components and the flavours didn’t blend in that well with the pasta.

Butterfly pea curly pasta with Sichuan garlic oil, garlic prawns, lap cheong crumble and tobiko. Appreciated the variety of textures, but thought it was a bit too dry and the overall flavours fell a little flat. Was really hoping for a stronger punch. Servers were friendly but it’s basically self-service even though there’s service charge. 😅
