This was overly sour for us, and there were some prawns within, and reminded us a little of tomyum, but not really for me.

This was good tho! Ngl it looks like spring roll but the fillings inside reminded of McNuggets 🌚.

This came sizzling hot, altho I'm not sure if good ones are supposed to be crispy (?). Slightly salty, but just right when paired with rice.

Have you tried Filipino food before?! I q enjoy Filipino food, altho it's not easy to find good ones in Sg.

Chopped Lechon (½kg - $23.50)
This was better than the one we had at Don Lechon, with the meat being much softer, and slightly oilier/ juicier. The skin could still be crispier tho, as the thick skin was slightly hard and difficult to bite at parts.

Small and unassuming joint at the corner of Novena Regency, I had my first taste of Filipino food here and boy oh boy did I enjoy every bite. We had the Chopped Lechon w/ rice and the Sizzling Lechon Sisig (both $10 each) - the Lechon was tender and meaty, reminiscent of the local Shao Rou, and I enjoyed every crunch of the skin and every glistening morsel of fat, made even better by the accompanying sauce. The Sisig, made from chopped Lechon offcuts mixed with a medley of chopped veges, topped with a runny egg, and brought together by an oily, sumptuous sauce, left me gasping for air - unsure if I was just taking a breather between shovelling mouthfuls of Sisig into my mouth or my arteries were immediately starting to clog from the grease (in a good way, of course). This meal brought me sheer joy and I can't wait to explore more of Filipino cuisine

Had this for lunch on a weekday (I heard its really crowded on weekends)

Got 1/2 kg of lechon for about $24, soo delicious but sinful 🙀 The meat was fatty, tender and flavorful! Loved the brown sauce and pickled vegges that came with it too. The skin was CRISPY and so fun to eat!

The sinigang was nice and tangy which cut through the richness of the lechon too

Also got their dessert (leche flan, maja blanca, mango graham) at $2 each 🤩
