Chicken was a little undercooked and abit on the chewy side. The rice is on-point though, fragrant but not too oily.
Don’t waste your stomach space on bad soggy overcooked bee hoon with cold fried fish cake and otah. Chilli was mediocre.
Located within Koufu at Woodlands Mart, the Hokkien mee store seems pretty promising with a long queue during lunch time. The noodles however were far from promising with the gravy being over salty and the prawns were not fresh at all. And it’s pretty pricy given that the smallest portion starts at $5.
Comfort Chinese food? Can’t understand the hype over this though.
Half a duck with three portions of rice, cost about $21. Huge portion of yam rice with lots of braised sauce and duck meat was quite tender. Alittle too much for 3 pax. 4 would be better to share. The sauce was a little too much and tasted quite salty.
Because look it's Friday and we'll have pizza if we want!
