Topped with a scoop of Apricot Honey Yoghurt ice-cream
.
Overall, the Apricot Honey Yoghurt flavour was creamy and matched perfectly with the earthy bitterness of the matcha ganache
Oatside x KOOKS Creamery

A harmonious medley of flavours made with Uji matcha, espresso and a creamy OATSIDE Barista Blend
I'm angry at myself that this lures me back despite the smaller cookie. Hahaha.
Yea the cookies are irreversibly smaller. Their matcha is probably better than chocolate. This ice cream flavour complemented the cookie. It's sweet but not strong. The interaction of the lava, cookie and ice cream is what makes this concept great.
Kooks Creamery is known for its molten lava cookies topped with a scoop of ice cream. I went with the signature lava set that came with a chocolate molten cookie and a single scoop of ice cream.
Do expect about 15mins waiting time as the cookie is baked upon order and then served on a hot pan sprinkled with cookie crumbs. The ice cream is served separately and to be placed above the cookie when ready where the molten lava starts oozing out, giving a contrast of hot and cold in a dessert.
The chocolate cookie was sweet but it went well with my choice of blue chai Hokkaido milk ice cream which was creamy and not too sweet. I would suggest going for ice cream with lighter flavours to balance the sweetness from the chocolate cookie 》$9.50 + $1.50 Speciality Flavour
The 𝗞𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝘁 ($9.50) comes with a molten chocolate cookie and a single scoop of ice-cream. Break the chewy cookie and watch the chocolate flow. Pure ecstasy.
