Tender chicken breast cubes with shredded carrots, cucumber chunks, brown rice and chilli. Nothing much to shout about on taste but if you are looking for a healthy, not heavily seasoned kind of food, this would be your go to.
Used to taste better, brown rice was also slightly softer and had a nicer infused taste to it. Would do better with some ginger sauce in my opinion.

Healthier version of nasi lemak but not compromising on the taste. Replacing the rice with quinoa, peanuts with almonds, fried egg with onsen egg etc. The quinoa has a nice coconut taste to it, and the chicken is tender yet flavorful with spices. Almonds are super crunchy. Each element in this dish complements each other very well. Chilli is slightly spicy for me but gives a very nice spicy kick to it. I like breaking the yolk into the quinoa and mixing it all in. Portion wise is just nice!

Unassuming but undoubtedly delicious! Even after leaving it in the fridge for 5 hours and then warming it up in the oven, the sous vide chicken was impossibly tender and juicy. The homemade chilli sauce was also a good blend of sweet and spicy. However, something that could be better would be to add more vegetables, as the shredded carrots and cucumber slices were quite measly.
This was absolutely delicious, and is proof that healthier substitutions can be done without major compromises on taste! The substitution of white rice for quinoa was almost unnoticeable, as the quinoa grains soaked up the curry wonderfully. Even though the coconutiness of the quinoa was much milder than in traditional nasi lemak, this was compensated by the strong coconut flavour of the curry.
Something weird, however, was that my onsen egg turned out to be an onsen egg white. 😥 not sure how that happened as I'm quite sure the menu said "onsen egg"....
Healthy rendition of Nasi Lemak consisting of quinoa, cucumber, egg and chicken. Tastes good, but relatively small portion for the price paid.
First time trying this healthier alternative nasi lemak I must say the sambal is properly spicy!
Great for those who are permanently on healthier foods only yet have a killer craving.
My fav from Kipos still is their mentaiko salmon for sure.
