Crispy toast that is not too thin with slab of butter and kaya.
• French Loaf Toast (S$2.60)
My ultimate favourite because of the crispy French loaf.

🍴DINE OUT🍴
📍Killiney Kopitiam, Killiney Road📍
💸 French Toast: $2.40 per pc
...
A really comforting and traditional breakfast spot that we’ve been going since young, Killiney Kopitiam is the place our parents will usually head to (with us) on a weekly basis😌 We typically like to rotate between the french toast, mee rebus, bread toast and occasionally the french loaf toast. Their french toast is eggy, not too soggy and we love to slather on a good amount of kaya😍The crowd favourite is definitely the curry chicken which our dad will always get without fail😂 Some of their other items like the chee cheong fun is really smooth, yums. At Killiney, you’ll always see a constant crowd streaming in for some nostalgic and authentic Singapore breakfast🍞🥚🧈
Not that this was anything exceptional -
Neither the bread nor tea Nor egg.
Perhaps just the “old feel” of this Kopitiam -
While the world’s changing , This place seems to have stood frozen in time. It makes me feel that if I sit Long enough in this place - I can reminisce and recount my growing up years .
The kaya though a tad too sweet was much better ( aromatic ) than Yakun’s in my opinion . The bread lacked the “‘freshly toasted “ feel that I was looking for. The saving grace is perhaps that it was less of the biscuit - like toast .
Still a nice place to hop by if you are in town.
Rich coffee taste. Craving for a cup of ice coffee is satisfied.
