I love their wide variety of side dishes and how each side dish brought about different texture and flavours. For eg the sweet potato was sweet and crunchy, potato was peppery and the quail eggs were savory. I opted out of chilli and spring onion for my noodles so it looks kinda plain. The noodles tasted like the chinese mee sua but of a firmer texture. The broth was flavourful and milky but it doesnt taste too oily like tonkotsu broth. There were quite a few meat pieces and each piece was tender. I would recommend adding kimchi or red pepper seasoning to bring out different flavour.

We ordered Halla Mountain Braised Pork Spare Ribs ($79) again, except that this time we tried the non-spicy version. The fork-tender pork ribs, vegetables and mushrooms absorb the rich broth thoroughly and are very flavourful. However, I still prefer the spicy version for an extra kick.

We also ordered Dombae Gogi ($45) which is boiled pork belly slices. The ratio of meat and fat is just nice and there is no strong porky taste - this goes really well with kimchi.

I tried the Abalone Porridge ($30) and it is sooo good. The porridge is smooth, flavourful and full of umami - can’t get enough of this!

Wide variety of side dishes such as: Tuna + corn + leek, lightly seasoned shredded potatoes, crunchy cucumbers + chives, dried cuttlefish with konjac in kimchi mayo, japchae, quail egg; the dishes are quite unique compared to most Korean eatery & taste are quite on point; definitely paired well with the dishes without overpowering the taste..

Seaweed pork soup is gooey in texture akin to black sesame paste but surprisingly light tasting; came with pieces of lean & tender steamed pork belly slices; topped with leeks & chilli powder; served with rice at the side..
