This ramen was quite worth it for under $10! Tried this at Changi Airport before our flight.
Definitely better than instant noodles. The noodles were nice and firm. The broth was oilier than at Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery, but was still quite alright to eat. The broth tasted like it was made with chicken bones, and had a strong gingery flavour to it!
This is the cheapest bowl of ramen you can get at Ippudo Express and comes with a single slice of pork shoulder loin. I think I wouldn't mind eating here again in future!
I was actually already eyeing this stamina buta don for dinner since departure hehe 🙊

that concludes our last flight with tigerair before their merger ✈ (my 6th flight with tiger! Thank you for serving me well for Krabi, Bali, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hanoi and Kalibo ☺)
.
And now I am (nervously) counting down 19 days to my first official work trip (although I am not really too keen on it. long flight + to a city that I don't really like + a city that is so unsafe now. Hmmm.😳) #burpple
Random ramen cravings before takeoff, fixed at Ippudo Express @ Changi T3! Springy noodles in a wholesome Tonkotsu broth, accompanied by egg, fatty cha shu and spicy cod roe. Not spectacular but quite satisfying otherwise.
Taste: 3.5/5
I was so excited when I saw this store en route to my boarding gate - Ippudo Manila and KL never failed me! This express store is definitely fast, but the ramen is so so :( I ordered Tamago Tonkotsu ($10) - broth was so flowy (I like it thick) and noodles quite overcooked (I prefer hard). Good side, tonkotsu is okay, quite fatty but liked it still; and the tamago is 👌🏻 as usual.
Have yet to check the non-express version to redeem the good rep in my mind 😂

Amazed by how the quality standard is maintained even though price and portion are slashed. Always love the hard noodle texture and thick spicy broth.
