This Thai fusion restaurant's gorgeous rendition of mango sticky rice. They use sago instead of sticky rice. There's also a dollop of coconut sorbet. The final touch is a coconut cracker associated with Thailand.
That's not a typo. This is Thailand's massaman curry but they gave a more local name lol. They also pair it prata. The chicken leg was tender, while the prata was crispy but oily.
We visited during their collab with Mama. This dish sounded like a straightforward shiok dish. It fell short. The pork wasn't the best, while the novelty of mama noodles died off quickly. It's also rather little so we had to order a third main.
We visited during their collab with Mama. This was probably the most iconic dish. There are tiger prawns, meatballs, pork belly and the egg yolk. I suspect my expectations were too high, but I guess it's okay lah.
This Thai fusion restaurant's complimentary appetiser. Watermelon topped with shallots and salted fish. An intended clash of sweet and savoury.
Popular Thai instant noodles, MAMA, takes over HUE in its first ever Asia pop-up from now to 14 January 2024. The restaurant is decked out in MAMA design to collectables, which you can stand a chance to win in the sure-win lucky draw for every $60++ spent in a single receipt (with a min. order of 1 MAMA dish). For this collaboration, there are 7 MAMA-inspired dishes from the herbaceous Meatball Larb to mains such as MAMA TomYum that comes in a creamy seafood broth to MAMA Crispy Pork Basil that is stir fried in wok hei goodness.
