Hong Kong Chef’s Kitchen (Ci Yuan Hawker Centre)

Surprised to find this on the menu. They're quite proud of their Hong Kong heritage so the food's slightly different. Unfortunately it's one of the worst ee fu I've eaten, especially the mouthfeel.

This is a dish I've always been conflicted about. I need my zichar rice dishes wet - this is dry. And their egg is an over-hard. However, the chicken is so good. Umami, crispy, oily. I will continue to be in this conflict.

Hong Kong Chef's Kitchen has that "Top 10" certificate for fried rice, but this was a very ordinary plate. The only plus was the many prawns. Pity because I actually like their other dishes.

Not bad. Quite spicy.
