[RAFFLES PLACE, SINGAPORE] A rooftop bar right in the heart of the CBD with sick views? You know you are going to have a good evening with food and drinks at @highergroundsg. This place checked all the boxes with their food with fun unique flavours, quality cocktails and of course great rooftop vibes.

Among the many delicious bar bites we ordered, their Umami Fries ($14) is still a winner for me. Crispy exterior, fluffy middle and full on umami mushroom flavour, this was the perfect starter to go with your drinks. The Charred Iberico Presa ($26) was an absolute delight too, as I almost couldn't tell it was pork with its soft yet juicy texture.

Do get their Handmade Classic Pizza ($28) too, as we loved the fresh tomato base that actually tasted decadent. The dough was crispy, slightly chewy and was good on its own too! As all pizzas are made to order, you might need to a wait a little while for them!

For the drinks I will definitely recommend the Oriental Spritz ($26) with its sweet yet tangy flavours. I got to warn you, this packs a punch too as it's a combination of 3 different kinds of liquor 😂 for a lighter option, the Hibiscus Sour Plum Spritz ($26) might win you over with its tangy floral notes.
