We always order their signature dish "Grandma Glutinous Rice" every time we visit HarriAnn. First experience at Bugis outlet, it tastes super. We recently tried this takeaway one in their Suntec outlet. While the glutinous rice 🍚 is cooked to perfection, we are not quite a big fan of the sweet glutinous rice version sitting at the other end of the box. Maybe we are savoury type but the 'sweet version' Is not our thing (too sweet for our likes).
Peanuts, shallots and sambal chilli are still power! 💯💥 but can we skip the sweet V. (No need for 2-in-1 mix) and just have the whole box filled with natural (salty) taste from original glutinous rice. ✌️ #HarriAnns #Nonya #KugelKaffee

This set comes with a serving of ayam ponteh, rice with achar on the side, and a choice of coffee/ tea or calamansi.

The sauce was full of flavour and so so good. I could not help drenching my rice in this rich gravy. The portion was huge too, and we had a chicken drumstick and chicken thigh in our serving, along with a piece of potato. The chicken itself was very tender and it absorbed a lot of the flavour of the sauce. A definitely satisfying meal that is value-for-money.

This set comes with a serving of glutinous rice, a side of kueh or ondeh-ondeh, and a cup of coffee or tea.

The glutinous rice had a delightful consistency and was equal parts sticky and chewy. It was well-seasoned and tasted both sweet and savoury. The soft peanuts added some textural contrast and went well with the rice. The chilli on the side was a great accompaniment to add heat.

The assorted kueh were delicious and soft, and full of coconut flavour. My personal favourite of the 4 was the kueh sago, which had bits of shredded coconut in between the sago layers.

HarriAnns Nonya Table’s Signature Kueh Platter is like a colourful treasure chest of traditional Peranakan delicacies. The tasting platter consists of nine best-selling items such as bite-sized Rainbow Kueh Lapis, mini Ang Ku Kueh Peanut and Ondeh Ondeh Gula Melaka

I lost count of the number of times I patronised HarriAnn because of the consistency I witnessed. I like how HarrisAnn is generous with their portion of chicken and potatoes; the former was very well marinated as you can even taste the curry in the chicken which comes off the bone easily. The curry broth was thick but I thought it would be more delicious if it were a little more spicy. Somehow, I could taste more of the coconut milk rather than the spice.
