For quick and easy dinners, turn to this casual eatery located in Toa Payoh Central for belly-warming Thai nosh. Fill up on the Chicken Phad Thai ($6), featuring bouncy kway teow noodles, and the tender Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew ($9.90) that's great for sharing. Served deep-fried, the Crispy Kang Kong ($8.90) sporting a light and crisp Tempura-esque batter comes highly recommended by the community as well – dip that in the creamy and aromatic sauce that comes with it!

Personally I loved anything savoury and Thai food always given me this satisfaction. Came across this place when I was browsing Burpple Beyond lists and read many good reviews.

Ordered main 1-for-1 crispy kangkong and clear tom yum soup since my husband can’t eat spicy . On top of it, ordered a steamed seabass with chilli & lime. The taste quite refreshing as they used lots of lime, and the fish is quite tender.

The crispy kangkong came with a dipping sauce which quite delectable and savoury. The less favourite diah was the clear tom yam soup with chicken. The soup was thin & sour only, without any β€˜kick’ factor.

All in all, it was a pleasant meal and only cost $23.50 for total bill. Happy tummy yet happy wallet!

Was deciding between this and Kin Moo just a few stores down, and chose this since it was more crowded (oops). Anw we got the tomyum soup with prawns, eggplant and minced meat and pad thai. All 3 dishes were really good, especially the soup!! The soup had just the right balance of spiciness and sourness, and very full bodied πŸ˜‹

Tried both fried and steamed $9.9 fish on separate occasions and prefer the steamed one! Fish is fresh. For those who prefer flavourful fish, go for the fried! Prawn omelette is good too and pandan chicken comes in 3 (taste a bit like satay). Recommend!! Paid $30 for 5 dishes, good amount and variety for 4 pax
