Loved the pizza here, tried a more conventional pepperoni pizza. Also ordered a pumpkin risotto which was ok
With 30% off we paid $48.20 for one pizza and one pasta and was very filling.
Fancy takeaway. I found it okay nia. Chilli's quite hot. I guess the soy sauce was fragrant but virtually every chicken rice is.
I was looking forward to visiting. A full-service non-chain Viet restaurant in Singapore is practically non-existent. The menu is really comprehensive and the food was generally good. This is one of his special creations. The noodles have a sauce while the famous broth, which was delicious, is served separately. The sliced beef was so-so.
A hearty bowl of thick, chewy knife-cut noodles (刀削面) tossed in a rich, savoury minced pork sauce with a slight hint of sweetness that balances out the deeper, meaty flavours. The cucumber adds a crisp, refreshing contrast, cutting through the richness for a well-balanced bite 》$6.50
Each dumpling is plump, juicy and wrapped in delicate, silky skin that soak up all that spicy, aromatic chilli oil. The sauce has just the right balance of heat and fragrance, soaking into every dumpling without drowning out the natural goodness.
Served in a classic blue and white porcelain bowl, the dish carries a touch of tradition, while a generous sprinkle of coriander and spring onion adds a refreshing contrast to the heat. No frills, just straight-up flavour with some kick 》$7
Had such a satisfying dinner here. Service was wonderful - our waiter was extremely kind and attentive - and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend the triple cup chicken and fried prawn rolls. Both dishes were savoury and went along so well with the restaurant’s chilli sauce.
Pretty bustling Taiwanese restaurant with a short wait for a table on a Friday evening. These were what we got:
- Feng Food Deluxe Dry Noodle ($16.70 + $1.20). This had two thumbs up but honestly it was just decent. Like dry XO noodles with a few slices of tender pork chop. Added on their thick noodles which was alright.
- Youmaicai ($10). Simple but delicious.
- Three Cups Tofu ($14.80). Tofu pieces were fried which gave it a really great texture contrasting the sweet-savoury sauce. We liked this.
- Taiwanese Braised Beef ($11). Tender slices of beef in a Taiwanese-style savoury broth. Warm and hearty but not a standout.
- Hakka-style Braised Meat Rice ($10.60) Delicious, a good version of luroufan.
Service was friendly and we liked they offered three different kinds of chilli to complement the dishes. However, not sure if we overordered but $68.50 seems slightly pricey for a meal for 3 pax.
Tried the dirty chai — which is masala chai + milk + and espresso shot
Love the combination and liked that this was quite unique.
Paid $26.90 for three drinks + 2 waffles + one sorbet
Tried the niangao waffle and orhnee waffle
I like waffle so this was a hit for me.
Both are good, added a nice chewy texture to the waffle
Also got a mango sorbet
