First of all, the blue rice was a joke. It's white rice with a few grains of blue. The potato and egg were nonsense too. Luckily, the chicken leg was very lemak.
for a food court in town, i think the price tag was pretty reasonable given that we had 2 maggis and 2 bowls of rice. we got da la and the bowl came dotted with countless cut chilis and chili padi, so the spice factor was certainly there. though the ingredients were generally well incorporated with the mala fragrance, the noodles were slightly overcooked and soggy which reduced the satisfaction of eating it.

Love the chewiness of the noodles, the broth was super gao and I just can’t stop at one spoonful.
Do not be deceived. This isn't the regular curry chicken noodles you can find at Toast Box or Ya Kun.
It was like a mix between Singapore Chinese curry and Kuching laksa. One spoonful sent my stomach into turmoil. I mean, it was good yet it was bad (for my weak stomach) because it was so hot and spicy.
It has a unique taste I didn't expect. Kudos to them. $5.20 and 3.2/5. You can find this at Food Junction, level 4 of Bugis Junction, along the stretch facing Watsons and the connecting bridge.

Interesting textures in this bowl of Knife Shaved Noodles ($6): Shaved from a block of noodle dough at a certain angle to yield chewy strands that are thicker in the middle and thinner on the sides, crunchy black fungus, and meaty braised beef chunks that were perhaps a little too lean for my liking. These were complemented by a full-flavoured broth that was beefy with a mellow end note—satisfying to the last drop.
Complete the meal with a variety of sides ($2.90)—choose from guotie (pan-fried dumplings), chives/radish/sweet potato/red bean pancake, and deep fried mantous. #burpple
average tasting. v generous with the portion of rice but I feel that they should be less stingy with the chicken :-(
