Treat your partner to an exquisite Thai experience at this snazzy restaurant in DC Mall that's famed for top-notch service and elevated authentic nosh. Start with the refreshing Pomelo Salad (RM58) with plump, pan-seared scallops served with a roasted coconut dressing. For the main event, Burppler Jesuis Enamourez recommends the Steamed Fish (RM78) – seabass fillet with spicy garlic, chillies and lime juice that's steamed to perfection, as well as the signature Erawan's Omelette (RM38). Meat-lovers, a must-have is the Merger Beef Curry (RM68) that sees tender beef bathed in a savoury blend of Thai massaman curry and Indian curry. Pair all that with a bowl of Steamed Thai Jasmine Rice (from RM3).

I mean, it’s insanely priced but it’s such a well done omelette. Think puffy, not-at-all oily and loaded with fresh veggies and herbs.
Okay lah, for its price, can’t really complain as the bowl was filled with generous slices of tender beef. Love the curry too; savoury and peppery in all the right ways, plus not too spicy.
Have heard many great things about this fancy Thai restaurant (including its exorbitant prices), but happy to report it’s worth it. Started with this refreshing salad, topped with six fresh and plump scallops – can’t complain. For a spice weakling like myself, it was perfect.
Erawan is a contemporary Thai cuisine restaurant that’s been in Malaysia since 2009. They have relocated to DC mall few months back and it’s always full house during dinner time. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a great dining atmosphere, premium quality food and presentation. For starters, you can check out their recommended dish Crispy Papaya Salad (RM58) with tempura papaya, soft shell crab and papaya salad dressing with nuts. One of my favourite dish is the steamed sea bass fillet (RM 78) with spicy garlic, chili and citrusy lime juice. It’s fragrantly steamed on lemongrass sticks and the flavourful. Erawan’s Omelette (RM30) and Green Curry free range chicken (RM38) were greasy. The Spicy Wok Fried Brinjal (RM38) cooked with Thai basils and spicy bean paste was pretty good. Overall, the food there was decent although there were some hit and miss items on the menu. Service can be quite slow during peak hours.
