Eng Ho Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee (409 AMK Market & Food Centre)

As the day turn dark, you would find people start gathering at front of this hawker centre. Most of them are standing there waiting for their order to be called from this stall.

Only open at the later part of the day till night, this stall served one of the most popular fried Hokkien prawn mee in Ang Mo Kio.

They fried their Hokkien prawn mee in batches, so you might need to wait longer to reach your turn. Almost 40 mins wait for me when I came on weekday night.

But seriously the wait is so worth it, even with the smallest portion like mine. You definitely get the kick of the taste from the noodles, hidden with the ingredients such as the prawn.

We finally didn't have to queue as it's late at night. It had a good balance of everything lah, from wok hei to broth, so I can't fault it - although I just like my Hokkien mee wetter. Great chilli too.

Quickly make stop and order a small plate for myself 😋.
It's pretty decent hokkien mee at Ang Mo Kio, its flavourful and wet type of hokkien mee, the sambal belachan goes well with the hokkien mee. The downside is not enough ingredients 🤣.

Fried Hokkien Mee, medium $4.50. It looks like no one is Q for it but don’t deceived because their system is such that, u place order, tell them your table number, make your payment and they deliver to u! We had a good wait of about 20 mins for dinner time! Wow, this is so fragrant! It’s so flavourfully fried with thin bee hoon, egg, sotongs, prawns and sliced pork! We love their chilli that goes so well with the noodles! Totally our kind of Hokkien mee!!! LOVE IT!! Adding this to our favourite Hokkien mee list! .
