Definitely a place for comfort food. Plus the student meals (that I can enjoy now) are so affordable! Students get a free ice lemon tea and ice cream. And the ice lemon tea is legit good teh-o sweetened w sugar syrup rather than those cordial mixes.

Pretty decent and reasonable. Good to have new chain eateries pressuring the incumbents - jack's place/ swensens - to improve and keep up with times.

dinner at the hood at highly raved 18 chefs. went without expectations though since it was an ad hoc decision. hard to refuse any food with salted egg yolk,
so i definitely had to give this creative dish a try. while the onslaught of salted egg smell filled my nose upon serving, the taste was just a tad disappointing. was expecting my buds to be attacked by a full-on salty egg taste but alas it was mild and timid. smart to add fresh cut chili as it gave another dimension in taste and generous serving of prawns (counted 6) was saving grace.
