I am back, for the pipa duck.
Eating 2nd cut.
The pipa duck is slightly better than the roasted duck, it's a little crispier. And the skin and meat taste a little more succulent.
Still love the chilli that was provided. Damn good
Have seen many good reviews on this place and especially for their pipa duck. Sadly pipa duck sold out when I went down
Decided to have their roasted duck instead.
The skin is not those crispy type, but their duck was tender and succulent.
Their noodle was also very good and flavourful.
The winner for me thou, is the chilli that was provided, it has a unique taste that no where else has, and it's so compatible to the roasted duck.
Overall really enjoyed this, will come back for the pipa duck for sure.
The pipa duck was the nicest, with a flavourful skin and meat that was moist. The roast duck and chicken wasnāt dry, but lacked an oomph. Had opted for the noodles but they were sold out, so rice it was! I think the meal would have been elevated had they flavoured their rice in some way. An average meal, might return to just get the pipa duck with noodles if Iām in the area.
You seldom get to find pipa duck rice at affordable price in Singapore but thanks to this young ladies who brought their skill to the eaters at Burlington Square.
Consider a pretty small shop inside the building, with not many seats available. But donāt miss out trying their roasted meat with either noodle or rice.
The pipa duck was prepared for at least 5 hours and above, so they are juicy yet not so oily. $5.80
(Part 4/4)
The portions of rice given seemed smaller than average but was drizzled with a layer of flavourful savoury soya sauce. Very tasty, and can very well be eaten on its own.... a bad thing as you're here for their meats! :)(We actually wanted their noodles but they were sold out when we were there)
Taste: 8/10
Price: 7/10
Overall: 7.5/10
Overall, good food, OK price, OK ambience, OK service (Very friendly but food took quite awhile).
Price: 6/10
Taste: 8/10
Ambience: 5.5/10
Overall: 6.5/10 (Worth trying if in the area)

This was surprisingly good as the sour tangy and refreshing flavour of the lemonade totally contrast and gets washed down by the bitter aftertaste of the coffee. Do note that as the lemonade is quite acidic though, you do not want to be drinking this on an empty stomach.
Taste: 8/10 (For its unique factor, do give this a shot)
