Happy Hour Oysters (5-7pm)

$2.00 · 36 Reviews

Great fresh oysters with 4 varieties available at anytime which change from time to time. Go during happy hour any the oysters are very reasonably priced. Great to try the different types. The oysters generally are quite clean tasting and sweet/salty. Nice cheerful atmosphere.

$3++ per oyster during the Happy hours from opening onwards. Smaller size but firm and fresh.

Each oyster had its own signature taste to it from the briny ones to the sweet ones and the creamy ones. The sun seeker was my favourite with its plumpier and creamier texture that was perfectly balanced.

Served with pommery mustard & capers salad. It's a great dish adding to the overall seafoody ambience of the place. Oysters and wine and what not! Great evening out!

Is it too early for oyster post? I think I am obsessed with oysters.

Happy Hour oysters over at @humpback.sg ! There were 4 kinds of oysters available during my visit, ordered 2 of each kind. Arranged from briny to creamy, my favourite would be the plump & creamy Sun Seeker.

Oysters(Happy Hour) $3++

Recommended by my girlfriend. Didn’t taste the oysters but they were good and fresh accordingly to my friends. This is also one of the reasons why people come for. Prawn Ngoh Hiang was their National Day dish. Crispy but a little salty for me at the end. Brown crab croquettes were crispy but a bit tasteless for me. My highlight of the night was the lemon scampi spaghetti. When it arrived, I thought the portion was small but it was filling due to the rich sauce (but not heavy). A place for a causal lunch or dinner.

Humpback served fresh oysters and different oysters has its signature taste to it. The staff has also taught us to taste the oysters from the briny ones to the sweet ones before trying the creamy ones. After trying the different oysters, I found out my preferences for briny oysters! Kudos

We tried a variety of dishes namely calarami, chicken pop, cabonara, salmon and also the famous lobster roll. Only the oysters were truly delicious while the the rest of the food were so so

Come by during Happy Hour (till 8pm) and feast on their wide selection of sweet and creamy oysters (from $3) like Hama Hama, Blue Pool, Eld Inlet and Fat Bastard. Get their Uni small plate (from $13) to share for a taste of cauliflower puree, toasted brioche and fresh sea urchin. For something more substantial, the Lobster Roll (from $45) features massive chunks of fresh lobster in buttery toast and dressed to the nines in melted cheese. Burppler Veronica Phua recommends washing it all down with their savoury vodka-based Lobster Bloody Mary (from $20) that comes with a chunk of lobster meat on a stick.
