their authenticity and PORTION SIZES really blew us away!!!

it was supposed to be food for two - the two of us ate until we were STUFFED and dabaoed, the rest was enough to feed 4….. so just imagine how big their portions are HAHAHAAH

our favourite was dipping into like 6?? different sauces and trying to choose whats our fav (torn!! cldnt choose!! each had their own unique taste and why its nice - some were refreshing, creamy, fragrant etc)

we also LOVED the desseert!!!! the addition of ice cream and the whole presentation of him drowning the dessert made it better HAHAHA

They recently moved from 60 Bussorah Street to 32 Bussorah Street. The food was really authentic & the staff were so so friendly.

You’d have to 100% try their Kunefe, it was the best one I’ve ever had😍😍 Other things I’d recommend is their lamb pide and lamb mandi, and of course the hummus! So so yummy!

As their name suggests, Derwish Turkish Restaurant serves delicious Turkish dishes! This includes their Baba Ghanoush, a Levantine appetiser consisting of finely chopped roasted eggplant, olive oil, lemon juice, various seasonings, and tahini. What’s more, the eggplant is traditionally baked or broiled over an open flame before peeling,so that the pulp is soft and has a smoky taste.

Can never eat Mid-Eastern without hummus and pita 😋 Hummus dish comes with some pita as well. The bread is freshly made and still hot when served. Perfect with the well-mixed/oiled hummus. Could be better with a bit of tang 👌🏻

Mixed Grill for 2 pax ($62++)

A big dish with a combination of Adana Beef, Adana Tavuk, Kuzu Shih, and Tavuk Shih. The lamb is not gamey at all, and seasoning is on point. The beef and chicken had a bit of tough parts on some pieces, but forvigable mostly as seasoning is just right

This dish was served with a pita underneath, and 2 big cups of rice + other sides (definitely good for more than 2 pax lol)

It’s been a while since I had Middle-Eastern food. Happy that this dish is not so bad :)
