Double shot for 20.8 and 50g
Cendol itself was translucent and thinner than usual, with a bit more snap as well. Coconut cream was thick and plenty, and the free Flow gula melaka was good as well. Though the musang King puree itself was of high quality, somehow this time it doesnt meld well with the chendol. Overall one of the best chendol ive had here, but doesnt beat some of singapore's best
We were roaming around Jonker street aimlessly in the sweathering heat and chanced upon a huge sign "Nyonya Chendol" which invited us in. We made this place our pit stop to rest and having a cool refreshing dessert makes it a whole lot better. Glad also that the chendol wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and syrupy!
Definitely an underrated place for Cendol in Jonker walk.
Contemplated the longest time over which chendol to eat (because thereβs too many choices and other stuff to try within the short span of our trip), and marked out a couple of possible places. We tried this in the end as it was conveniently located in Jonker Street and was slightly hidden from the crowd. And this was absolutely outstanding; we canβt compare to other chendols as this was the only we tried here, but the gula Melaka was PERFECT. Only after I got back to SG and drank some avocado with mediocre gula Melaka did I realize how good this truly was.
