A pretty sinful and exciting drink to have, it topped with marshmallow, milo powder, malt balls and chocolate pocky. $14++
In the inspiration from the former Magnolia Milk Bar, they have a series of milkshake with interesting name.
Slightly on the sweet side, but rich and indulgingly-good.
You can also check out the set lunches at The Capitol Kempinski, priced affordably at $17++. When you dine there, remember to redeem a $10 Mall voucher, quote @danielfooddiary upon redemption at the concierge counter.

This is such a beautiful space, not just the Capitol Milk Bar but all the eateries around here too. So much potential itβs a shame itβs not more crowded.
.
Capitol Milk Bar is named after the popular Magnolia Milk Bar of our parents era. How I wish I could go back in time to see what it was like.
.
We werenβt very hungry so we ended up taking one of the cheaper items on the menu, the hot dogs at about $10. You can choose the sides you want so I got the salad. Who am I kidding. ππ
Who might remember Magnolia Snack Bar (well maybe not you but your parents?) which was known for its delicious milkshakes and cakes in their heydays. Capitolβs Milk Bar emulates the place, with introduction of sandwiches, burgers, milk shakes and a impressive 1m long hot dog!

Happy to visit this pretty Milk Bar and these were our orders:-
Capitol Burger ($19) with 150gm black angus beef patty, egg wrap, cheddar cheese, black pepper mushroom sauce. The patty was slightly dry & bland but the charcoal brioche bun was good
π
Fisher Brothers Burger ($20) with 150gm of black angus beef patty, vine tomato, roasted bacon, cheddar cheese. I prefer this combi to the other burger as it was juicier & more flavorful. The multi-grain bun was yummy too π
π
Classic New Yorker ($9) was a simple yet delicious Hotdog! Love the crispy onions sprinkled lavishly on the pork sausage with mustard, ketchup & cucumber relish π
π
Salted Egg Chicken Wings ($13) was average and Ava Gardner ($22) the shrimp brioche roll was a total disaster beyond description π
π¦
Overall a pleasant place but huge improvement in terms of service attentiveness & promptness

Happy to visit this pretty Milk Bar π
Ordered a 3-course set meal ($22) and yes, loved the super appetizing & refreshing Yuzu Cabbage Slaw π The Grilled Portobello Mushroom Burger was yummy too but only when it was served then I realized this was a vegetarian item π Profiterole with Salted Caramel Ice-Cream was indeed a great dessert to end of the meal π However do note that the portion of these items in the set was relatively small and may not be βsatisfyingβ π
