($8) my friend wanted to try this bc he told me tat its remind him bc of malay kuek lol bc of they use coconut flake on the madeleine.
($6) it's been good decision for me to make tbh. I wanted to try canele for a long time since I don't have time to do tat most of time. So I decided to make time for this round of time. I really enjoy this canele so much as the matcha sauce was too thick texture for me and also just nice matcha intensity level.
($7.50) it's quite overwhelming taste for me. But then it's quite hard texture for me tbh. So I didn't managed to eat finish bc it's too much for me. I felt its quite nice and tbh the matcha sauce was quite milky but the chocolate loaf cake was quite sweet.
($7.50) I saw a lot of different variety of matcha drink so I choose refreshing taste for matcha. Bc the weather was too hot recently. So the matcha was quite bitter enough but sparkling water made it better so much.
Coming to downtown area early in the morning on Saturday, decided to grab some drink at Café Kitsuné before proceeding with my day.
I guess the hype is no longer there with no one else here when I came past 9am on weekend. Meaning I could really chill and relax over a cup of their seasonal floral matcha tea, accompanied by a piece of their signature fox shortbread.
The Pistachio Raspberry Tart ($15) is rich and packed with nutty fragrance. There is a good balance of sweet, salty and citrusy notes. The tart is crisp and buttery. Although the tart is quite pricey, it is big enough to be shared. Not bad!
