This was one of the free mornings where I slept in, missed hostel breakfast and had cafe food for brunch instead. We stayed in Mingle Hostel so there was 20% off upon showing our keycard ✌️
I did not expect the portion of this dish to be this large – it fed a party of three nicely! Generous amounts of duck ragout are mixed in with the chunky blocks of yam cake, crunchy bean sprouts, chives and spring onion. We finished everything.
A steal for RM10! In this dish you’ll get eggs, bread and kaya – the makings of a simple and satisfying breakfast meal. There’s a little heat in here too and that’s from the sambal-like shoyu dressing.
Smoothie bowls here are uncomplicated and tasty. While they were out of papaya, the kiwi was a nice substitute against the sweet dragonfruit smoothie.
I love coffee ice cubes mostly for the extra intensity it gives the drink. Here, the cubes are dark, which work well with the hot milk you’re given to stir in.
Croque monsieur (RM18) and hot latte (RM12). Food was tasty though price might be a bit steep. Parking along Jalan Sultan is an hassle as always. Would recommend taking Pasar Seni LRT to save the trouble.
