New vegan spot in Petaling Street puts healthy eats at the top, so it’s only fitting that kombucha is on the drinks menu. Locally brewed kombucha is refreshing and comes in three different flavours – this blueberry açai.

Really enjoyed this ice black – fruity with a slight acidic punch. This newbie is in Seventeen Mall and it’s perfect for lazy brunches.

Probably one of the more expensive black coffees but a decent cup nonetheless. Bold, fruity and just like the piccolo, possessed a strong bitter note at the end. Good for a morning pick me up. Can we also take a minute to admire those gorgeous Cone No.9 cups???

New cafe at The Hub is cosy, and promise to deliver great coffee and brunch grub. Heard beans in the hopper are from The Roast Things so expected coffee to be excellent – sweet at first but had a very strong bitter note at the end.

Not many places serve this white chocolate variant and happy to find it here. It’s rather sweet on its own so definitely best had in a mocha – the acidic espresso helps balance the flavours. It’s a nice drink to have when you’re craving sugar.

Find good coffee and cakes at this cosy spot! Got my usual and really liked the bold and fruity notes – best paired with the sweet crepe cakes.

Haven’t had a decent milk coffee in a while and this truly delivered. Boasting nutty and almost toffee-like flavours with each sip, and the flavours did not disappear despite the hefty amounts of ice. Got this at RM10 as it’s their opening promo price!

Falling so hard for this gorgeous new space in TTDI. If it looks familiar, it’s opened by the same folks that use to run X Coffee in Isetan Japan Store. Opted for a filter coffee and went with the fruity selection from India. Super light-bodied and so clean and smooth. Filter coffees aren’t the cheapest here but it’s so worth it especially to see then brew it using the gold dripper.

There are also a range of non-alcoholic coffee-based concoctions on the menu. Opted for this interesting one – it’s made with pink grapefruit, smoked herbs, honey and mango – and have to admit that it wasn’t too my liking. It’s just not my flavour preference as I found it a bit too smoky.

Find coffee, cocktails and coffee cocktails at this new spot in Damansara Kim! Really interesting flavour combinations on the menu like this one – coffee liqueur with Gouda cheese, vanilla and white peach. Extremely well-balanced and the cheese isn’t overpowering at all! Highly recommended for those keen to try new flavours without the heavy flavours of the hard liquor.

Cute little kiosk tucked in a corner, between One Utama and One World Hotel. Everything on the menu is less than RM10! Went with the signature milk coffee and had the option to switch to oat milk for no extra charge! Can’t complain.
