Being a fan of truffle and scallops, this plate of pasta didn’t really passed my palate and makes me wonder if it’s a starter or main since the portion was pretty small. The angel hair was tossed with truffle paste served with 3 tiny scallops and “caviar” but I barely could taste or smell any hint of truffle. Not worth the price. RM79 per serving.
The mini tartlets doesn't taste that fresh. The hazelnut chocolate Beignets were good.
I think they probably is one of the minority in town that served quality sandwich fingers for afternoon tea set. A variety of Salmon, cheddar, potato salad etc... I do find their food slightly over season.
Trying out their afternoon tea set for two. The portion was quite small. First tier, scones served with whipping cream and confiture. The English in me would prefer if they served them in clotted cream. RM120/set comes with free flow coffee or tea.
Over here, they features 5 kinds of hot chocolate from P125 Couer de Guanaja 80% Dark Chocolate to 32% Dulcey White chocolate as well as their Signature Chocolate blends from their barista. This cup of BLVD Spice contain dark chocolate covertures, chili, orange zest and milk. It was intense but flavoursome. RM22/cup
Blvd's server definitely has good knowledge on the type of coffee they serve. Their High Tea set comes with free flow of black coffee or a selection of hot brewed tea.
