The briyani section on the menu was labelled "Dum Briyani" -- which means that the rice is prepared with the meat inside, rather than separately.

The basmati rice was supremely delicious and aromatic. Though a tad dry, that was remedied by the spicy chicken curry which surprisingly did not overpower the subtle fragrance of the spices in the briyani. What a treat.

Tucked away at a quiet corner of Race Course Road, it serves outstanding Indian fare at reasonable prices -- definitely worth a try, especially if it's your first foray into trying Indian cuisine.

A definite must-try is the [Chicken Lollypop]. Well-spiced crispy batter coating each winglet, with a thin layer of fat under -- delicious. Pretty exorbitant though -- $8.50 for one plate!
