Ah Bowl Den

First look, portion seemed lagi small, and then the price also sibeh expensive. Ah Bowl Den, abuden! But too bad, I’m a sucker for herbal food. The atas chicken soup is served with a bowl of plain white rice, drizzled with dark sauce and accompanied by a few wrinkled, semi-dry pieces of xiao bai cai. Kinda pathetic on its own, but luckily the rich, savoury, and herby soup made up for it.
The flavourful soup included tender bite-sized chicken, wolfberries, crunchy cordyceps, and red dates. The set also comes with a choice of either a selected side or an iced drink. I got the Iced Kumquat Tea ($4.50), which had a uniquely sweet and tangy taste profile.
