Creamy smashed avo, nori jam, lightly seasoned crispy kale atop ciabatta with a side of fluffy scrambled eggs. Pretty satisfying but thought it’d be perfect with more crunchy/ crisp texture aside from the kale. Or maybe I just need a litttttle bacon to go with it 😛

This Earl grey gin was fantastic! Using their signature Singapore Dry Gin, infused with Earl grey tea - fragrant, incredibly refreshing and so easy to drink. A pity they don’t sell it bottled, would’ve love to bring one home if they did.

Caught a whiff of coffee before looking around and found the source - this little, literal, hole in the wall space in a back lane along Joo Chiat. Currently on gratuity basis so do bring along some cash!

Coffee was pretty decent so this was a fun find (behind Crane/ pretty near Sojao - a good coffee stop before shopping 😂). For non-coffee drinkers, they have matcha/ hojicha too!

We’ve had SBCD’s soontofus a couple of times but always had it delivered. Finally got a chance to dine in and while it was delish, the whole dining in process was painfully slow - terribly long wait for a weird lunch hour on the weekend.

We had the bulgogi + soontofu combo ($32.9) and opted for another assorted soontofu so we could have a bit of everything - beef, clam, crab, shrimp and squid in the soup. The tofu was so good - if only they sold them for home cooking 😂 came also with hot stone bowl rice (scoop them into the metal bowl; unless you love that crispy layer of rice stuck below - of which you’re recommended to add corn tea to get nurungji!)

It was very, very filling. Rich, tasty and not too spicy (good that we had the option to choose spiciness level). Bulgogi was quite enjoyable too! We also really loved the deep fried yellowtail which was served as a banchan and happily added on another at $2. Super crispy, could finish almost in its entirety.

Will definitely pop by again!

Happened to pop by few days before this outlet closed! The chewy warabi mochi here is actually pretty worth it and we enjoyed the kuromitsu that was served with it. Hop over to the Craig Road outlet for a wider variety (Goma was my personal favourite and Yuzu was refreshing!).

Also ordered their outlet exclusive Ichigo-ichie gelato, a small batch experimental gelato flavour. This time it was smoked oat milk - smoked with applewood chips; but we thought it was too mild.

The small bites menu is quite limited with option of granola, 3 types of sandwiches and 3 types of pastries. Came hot and toasted till golden brown, left quite a bit of a crusty mess. Cheddar, blue cheese and gouda was pretty mild. Nothing outstanding as it’s not the greasy grilled cheese sandwich that I like (a tad dry). Quite like the vibes here though! And service was quite good and attentive. Looks like a lovely place to have a drink or two at night!

Option of hot/ cold udon/ soba and spicy cold udon. Enjoyed the spicy cold udon - the chilled inaniwa udon were chewy, with cucumber, Sakura ebi, cucumber, leek, bits of tempura batter for crunch and layu. Pretty spicy for me but it was refreshingly good!

Requires a $3 add on if you’re getting the set (tendon + udon).

First tried Tenya in Japan and was surprised by the quality of a chain restaurant (but then again it’s Japan😂). Pretty decent for its price, starting at $8.90 for a basic tendon. We went for the premium which came with 2x tempura prawns, squid, kani kama, pumpkin, lotus root and French beans. They were generally lightly battered and not too greasy! Prawns and squid were a tad bland but ok overall especially with the tare. I really enjoyed the sweet pumpkin slice.

I liked that there’s the option of less rice (and it’s 50cents cheaper!). For the hungry/ best of both worlds, you could get the set which comes with rice and udon (+$3 for spicy cold udon).

Also really liked the lychee cream which was actually quite light and refreshing. Pandan coconut (which I didn’t take a photo of hahaah) was also very fragrant!

Really like how P&P is always coming up with new flavours for both donuts and other bakes so there’s always something new to try.

Just look at the amount of fillings in this! Enjoyed the matcha which was mildly bitter😌

Definitely my favourite item to order at DTF! Addictively good, crispy fried skin with bits of prawns within with a bouncy texture. Great as appetizer.

Finally made our way here and got the hype despite the inconvenient location - the prawn noodles were really good! Robust soup, rich in flavour. Ordered the normal and big prawns and the latter was pricey but I definitely liked the prawns better.
