$5.90 at the Plain Jane!! Roll itself was just fluffy enough, and the matcha cream was AMAZING!!! Not too overpowering yet not too dense, with the matcha taste subtly unfolding itself with every bite. Ambience was A+ too, love their aesthetic. Definitely going back to try their other rolls!!

A cross btw your traditional wan ton mee and Japanese ramen. They really take pride in their presentation so expect a longer waiting time amidst the already long queue. The noodles were springy like hk style noodles and it is seasoned in their special sauce consisting of lemongrass, garlic and oil. Their homemade Sambal Blachan though not so spicy was a good contribution to the entire umami experience. Of coz it was the half cooked egg that got me salivating. Instead of char Siew, you get a substitute of Japanese pork belly that is marinated n cooked for 36 hours in a water bath resulting in a very tender pork that melts in your mouth. Only thing I didn't really like was the fried prawn curled thing which didn't really go and was so oily. Other than that price was reasonable at $5.90 for a small bowl.

My choice of protein, the grilled curry chicken, proved to be better than the steak I had previously. The skinless, boneless pieces of chicken breast were tender and well-marinated with a mild curry spice. I chose the fusilli as my base, and opted for broccoli, sweet corn and Japanese cucumber for the allotted three toppings. In the end, because the chicken had more than enough flavour, I found no need for dressing.

$13 for the buttermilk waffles with coconut popcorn and condensed milk. Add $2 for a scoop of ice cream!!

The Yuan Yang Waffle is an aesthetic-looking waffle with a combination of charcoal and original waffle. Topped with vanilla soft serve, you could even drizzle chocolate over your waffle and ice cream.Β

A refreshing and light dish as compared to the rice and soba options. The quinoa salad consists of cranberries, corn, herbs and water chestnut which adds crunchy texture. Includes grilled chicken leg and I think squash (texture is crunchier than pumpkin).

That Dory Fish (SGD5) has a succulent slice of dory fish with tartar sauce, zucchini, red pepper and cheese. I added on bacon (SGD0.50) and fairy fries (SGD1) as sides. I love it becomes the fish was slightly charred and yet juicy!
His was the classic beef (SGD5) which has a beef patty, cheese, homemade tomato sauce, pickles and lettuces. It's yummy too!

Move aside froyo - THIS FROCO PARFAIT IS SO DARN GOOD!!!! Rich, smooth and refreshingly light with no added sweetness with all the natural goodness from young Thai coconuts made into that perfect little swirl just right for the weather. AND it's healthy. $6.50 for a froco with any 3 toppings, we loved how well the pineapple went with the froco, and granola for crunchier texture. If you're not up for anything fancy, the froco ($3.80/ $5 for short/ tall cup) is the perfect cup to get you hooked. For something more refreshing, opt for their smoothies with froco!

Mee Tai Mak with Century Egg ($9.80)

Exceedingly excited seeing one of my favourite ingredients Century Egg 😍 on the menu of newly open @nownoodles . Mee Tai Mak arrived smelling simply heavenly. The rempah used is housemade and was at just the level of spiciness I like for the kick! Overall, flavour was really good. Will definitely also want to try their dry laksa nextπŸ˜‹!

Baked moist salmon fillet, a garden of arugula, guacamole & onions topped w HB teriyaki sauce sandwiched between wholemeal slices. πŸŸπŸƒ The teriyaki sauce & guac comes together perfectly to compliment the salmon fillet. With the sweetness of the fish, savoriness of the teriyaki sauce & creaminess of the guac, it's a perfectly well-balanced & delicious sarnie. A great CBD lunch option! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘…πŸ’¦ #yummos

Which is what your boss may tell you, or when you are catching a bus.
Fasta is a fast food takeaway pasta concept, serving up unique flavors at affordable price.

The Signature items: Scallop wallop, Shio Ba Mee, Chickinaki and Smokey Quacky Ducky.
To see if they are really FAST, I set a stop watch for both times (ordered 2 pastas, I was the only customer).... About 9 mins for the pasta to reach.
Ok lah, at least not Man Man.

For $11.50, you get two huge scoops of tiramisu and chocolate ice cream which were both very creamy and smooth. It wasn't overly sweet. The waffles were crispy and fluffy on the inside! A new and quiet chill out spot in serangoon!
